Schools rely on volunteers to help deliver Bikeability on-road cycle training. Training children to cycle is fun and rewarding, knowing that you are passing on skills that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
When you sign up to become a volunteer to help deliver Bikeability training in schools, you will sit the CTA course (Cycle Training Assistant), which is one-day course with your bicycle at a location in Glasgow. You will receive a training qualification to add to you CV and gain new links at your school and community.
Once you have completed your training, your details will be put on the Bikeability web page so that schools can contact you directly to assist with their training. All volunteers will require to be PVG checked to assist in schools.
