There’s a possibility you missed the pedestrian as you focus on the two cars. The silver car could have pulled out into your path to avoid the pedestrian - a lot to think about in a short space of time!

Hazard 5

Well done, the white van is a threat as is the sliver vehicle pulling away -when approaching multiple hazards slow down and give yourself time to react.

Hazard 4

You should have spotted the cyclist at the same time as you spotted the pedestrian between the parked cars. Always give cyclists as much room as possible when passing and be prepared for any sudden movements as they too have to negotiate around pedestrians steeping out and pot holes!

Hazard 3

You may have missed this one, but you should have spotted another pedestrian walking on the pavement, residential housing, shops and a pub on the nearside - all signs that you should slow down and take care when passing the parked vehicles.

Hazard 2

Well done, this pedestrian was quite difficult to spot at first due to their dark clothing. Always scan the road ahead and look out for any movement.
